What in the World is Tomatomania!, You Ask?

Tomatomania is what the New York Times called “the tomato freaks’ Woodstock.” I have to say I love that description.

Tomatomania is a place for those that are nuts about tomatoes gather to learn, taste and most importantly, buy heirloom tomatoes.

It may have started in California but they have pop up events at popular nurseries and gardening hotspots across the United States. With any luck, there will be one near us soon.

California friends are especially lucky because the largest and longest-running Tomatomania! event happens in your great state.

Thousands of tomato fans unite for a three-day extravaganza that highlights more than 300 heirloom and hybrid tomato varieties.

If you have questions about tomatoes, tomato gardening or even how to make an awesome tomato recipe this is THE place to be.

There are classes on:

growing tomatoes in pots

-types of fertilizer to use

-tomato stakes

-starting tomatoes from seed

-and so much more…..

Honestly, a Tomatomania! event is a one-stop place for learning how to grow delicious tomatoes in your own yard or patio.
